Our Vision
Advancement of spine care through patient-generated solutions that innovate toward effective, accessible, and affordable treatments globally.

Link Science to Improved Health
Encourage engagement of the public around research development and enrich the understanding of how science happens by directly linking science to improved health. This includes training individuals, especially those with personal connections to spine conditions, in research study interpretation, design, and conduct. A special focus will remain on young women, who are most often affected by scoliosis, helping them understand and engage with spine health research.
Sustainable Solutions
Support investigations that make sophisticated technologies accessible in a low-cost, sustainable manner, extending diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of spinal disorders. We will also expand research to evaluate the safety, quality, and cost of implants globally, ensuring patients and surgeons have unbiased information, especially when selecting implants out of pocket. This will be done through transparent, independent, and rigorous assessments of treatments.
Better Spine Care For All
Work towards an improved understanding of the healthy spine, with a particular focus on soft tissue supporting structures and the role of motion preservation in improved treatments. We aim to establish and expand systems that enable patients to access and control their personal spine clinical information, offering tools to link personalized data with relevant research, driving improvements in spine care for everyone.

Engage the Public
Engage the public at every stage through inspiration and improved access to those who care for them. Focus on encouraging women, particularly those affected by scoliosis, to become both clinicians and researchers focused on spine health. By training individuals to understand research development, we ensure that the public’s voice is an integral part of spine care advancements.
Fulfilling Partnerships
Collaborate with and support investigators in low-resource regions to encourage sustainable and fulfilling partnerships to achieve the above goals, while building on their unique perspectives.
Open Access
Make information open access to the public. Provide access to high-quality information regarding one's own spine health. Share unbiased transparent data to better help inform both patients and doctors worldwide.
